September 2021 - TV & Radio Signal
You may have heard that there was a major fire at the Bilsdale transmitter, near Helmsley in North Yorkshire. As a result of this, over 500,000 properties were affected and left without TV or radio signal and, unfortunately Middletons Hotel was one of these affected. We therefore continue to be without any TV or radio signal at the hotel and cannot provide this service to you. As we await further news on the re-build of the Bilsdale Transmitter this matter is out of our control and we are unable to provide a TV service until the transmitter is working once more. Our WiFi is working and we advise you to bring an iPad/Tablet/Laptop if you would like to watch streaming eservices that you have subscribed to. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
